Jackson Gates is the Founder and Managing Partner of Manresa Ventures, an early stage VC firm focused on FinTech.  As an operator Jackson served as VP of Strategic Partnerships & Corporate Development at Affirm, following Affirm’s acquisition of his startup. He was also on the early team at Pandora as VP of Business Development and Corporate Development through the company’s IPO in 2011. Jackson started his career at Sun Microsystems and then became a young venture capitalist at Lehman Brothers Venture Partners and Vulcan Ventures. He received his MBA from Stanford and his bachelor's degree from Georgetown University.
