Guest Speaker: Nick Hart
With over 30 years of experience shooting a bow and arrow, Nick Hart is one of the leading archers in the US. His wins at the NFAA National Championships in 2023 make him the defending champion in both the longbow division and the men's traditional team. "Always a student," Nick's training with legends in the sport such as Alan Eagleton, Tom Daly, and his dad, Tim Hart, have propelled him to win numerous titles and taught him about the transformative power of practicing a discipline that demands attention to detail, focus and above all consistency. With a passion for teaching, Nick has trained thousands of archers from first time shooters to top tier athletes. He believes that there is ancestral knowledge embedded
Presentation Summary
Cultivating an archery practice has the potential to have a profound effect on efficiency and work ethic in daily life. Archery in itself is a form of meditation, slowing down, and finding connection with the breath and body. The benefits of a practice trains both the body and the mind, easily translate to greater capacity for productivity and improved state of mind.
Archery is unique in that it offers a skill set (and mind set) that can be useful in the business world and beyond. The qualities that archery can influence like discipline, focus, awareness, attention to detail, consistency, and a love for practice and competition, are also great ways to achieve excellent performance professionally and inspire others along the way.
