Max is the Founder of Diamond Arc Legacy, an investment firm on a mission to acquire and grow one great company. Most recently, he served as VP of Operations for TEAM Public Choices, a national home care services provider supporting individuals with disabilities and the elderly. Previously, Max worked in finance, advising and investing alongside founders and CEOs in the healthcare and industrials industries.

He holds an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a bachelor’s degree in Finance from Washington University in St. Louis, where he played four years of varsity basketball.

Max's personal mission to inspire others to achieve their highest-performing and happiest selves through leading and building people-first companies. Outside of work, Max enjoys challenging himself and building community through weightlifting and functional fitness.

A New Jersey native, Max now resides in San Diego, CA, with his wife, Nancy, and their daughters, Camila and Mya.

Jeff Petersen is an M&A attorney who has represented clients in a variety of sale and acquisition transaction totaling over $3 billion the past six years. He is the Managing Director of Petersen + Landis, P.C., a corporate and securities boutique law firm with offices in San Diego and Chicago. 

A former partner at K&L Gates, one of the largest law firms in the world, Jeff has a wealth of experience handling complex corporate matters.

He graduated cum laude from Georgetown University Law Center, where he was on the Dean’s List for all three years and served as an editor for the Law and Policy in International Business Journal.

Jeff earned his undergraduate degree with magna cum laude honors from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he double-majored in Business Management and Marketing.

For eight consecutive years, Jeff has been recognized as a Super Lawyer in San Diego, a distinction awarded to fewer than five percent of practicing attorneys.

In addition to his legal work, Jeff is actively involved in various legal organizations and community service, serving as a director or participating in several charitable organizations.
